- the TRANSAERO Airline joint stock company is established.
1991 - TRANSAERO’s first passenger flight.
1992 -the first IL 86 with a specially improved interior is purchased.
1993 -the first scheduled flight, Moscow-Norilsk,
is made in an IL 86. The first international route, Moscow-Tel Aviv, is
opened. TRANSAERO’s Boeing 737 is the first Boeing in Russia.
1994 -the first Boeing 757 in Russia.
1995 -the level of a million passengers a year is exceeded. First
place in the world in the IATA rating for the growth in the number of passengers.
1996 -Transatlantic flights Moscow-Los Angeles
begin in DC-10-30 aircraft.
